Dot 5 brake fluid is silicone-based, which means it does not absorb any moisture. It is not corrosive to paint or other brake components which makes it great to work with around classic cars, trucks, and go karts.
NOTE: DOT 5 brake fluid cannot be mixed with any other grade of brake fluid.
